How to read the figures used here

Every figure quoted on this site belongs to somebody else and is cited where it appears. The results page carries nine of them with their sources: Marketplace Pulse on what Amazon's total take reached, ILSR on what Amazon collected in a year, Etsy's and Shopify's own published fee schedules, two threads on each of those platforms' own community boards, SimplicityDX on what a new customer costs, and Litmus on what email returns.

They describe conditions across an industry. They are not a forecast of your result, and not one of them is a customer of this business.

Figures that could not be traced to a source have been removed rather than left standing behind a qualifier.
